He didn't text back--what gives?

I can’t stop thinking about this guy. I met him at a friend’s house, and after we hung out, he told me that he had fun and we should do it again. He said he’d text me Monday, but never did. When I texted him on Tuesday, he didn’t answer. Do you think I should try talking to him again? Or text him straight up? I don’t want to be annoying or sound desperate, but it’s killing me not knowing what’s going on. I really thought he was into me, too. Please tell me what to do!

Dear Untexted,
Guys can be confusing – and they’re not always sure how to read us, either. Your guy may have genuinely enjoyed hanging out, but isn’t ready to step things up. My advice? Don’t text him anymore or chase him down trying to talk to him. But don’t give up on him, either. Next time you see each other, act friendly (not drooly, not mad, not hurt), and see how he reacts. If he’s sweet to you, great. If not, move on without regrets. Summer is an ideal time to meet new guys.
