My Hurricane - An original poem

Hello darlings! Here's an original poem written by GL reader Natalie. Take a peek, then let us know what you think in the comments.

My Hurricane

I’m a mess.
And you’re my hurricane.
You came with the warning signs.
Warm hearts and cold shoulders.
But I didn’t see the bigger picture,
or how close the rain was...
Until my cheeks were already damp.
Now all that’s left is rubble.
You’re my hurricane.
