Can love save a life in Running Lean?

North Carolina is home sweet home to Calvin and Stacey, aka the world’s most adorbs couple ever. The two are perfect for each other and go together like PB&J. But as their senior year approaches, things take a turn for the worse.

Calvin remains shaken after his brother’s death in Afghanistan, and Stacey can’t help but strive to be a better girlfriend. This means taking drastic measures so she can be the prettiest—and skinniest—girl in school. Right now, they need each other more than ever, but Calvin and Stacey have never felt so alone.

Stacey tries to keep her problem a secret, but Calvin finds out. He is determined to help her, even if it means the end of their relationship. Because if he doesn’t? It could cost Stacey her life.

Readers will get a glance inside the minds of both Calvin and Stacey as the tale progresses, giving the story a unique twist.
