5 easy, pretty updos for your weekend

It’s the weekend and you’ve got places to go! Need an easy updo? Here’s some hot new hairspiration for all your pretty plans, dolls.

    1. Ashley Benson’s bitty bun

    How to:

-Start by teasing the hair at the top of your head. Continue to tease and add hairspray until you have voluminous roots.

-Slide on any headband of your choice and continue to tease the hair behind the headband.

-Gather your hair at the nape of your neck and secure with a ponytail holder.

-Twist the ponytail into a messy bun and pin in place. Or, leave hair in a pretty pony, no bobby pins needed!

    2. Demi Lovato’s totally tops topknot

    How to:

-Brush back and gather hair at the top of your head and secure with a ponytail holder.

-Twist your tail around the elastic and secure with bobby pins as you make your way around, forming a big ballet bun.

-Pull out short pieces of hair in the front, just like Demi for a messier look, or keep it slicked back for a sophisticated look. It’s completely up to you!

    -Hit with hairspray to finish.

    3. Bridgit Mendler’s perky pony

    How to:

-Begin by parting your hair on one side.

-Using a 1/2-1 inch curling iron, begin to curl your hair. You do not need to curl your locks from root to tip! Start curling about half way down your hair.

-Once you finish with your curling iron, gather your hair at the upper back of your head, just like Bridgit, and secure with a ponytail holder or elastic.

-Touch up your ponytail with the curling iron and lightly wave the loose pieces around your face.

-Finish off with hairspray and flaunt your effortless pony.

    4. Jennifer Lawrence’s sweet side bun

    How to:

-Part your hair on one side and gather hair on the heavy side of the part behind the ear. Secure with a ponytail holder.

-Begin looping pieces of your ponytail and secure with bobby pins around the elastic until all the pieces are pinned into a messy bun.

-Pull out loose strands around your face and finish with styling spray.

    How to:

-Gather your hair behind your ear and secure with a ponytail holder.

-Lightly curl and tease the ends of your ponytail for a little texture and lightly curl loose strands around your face. Done!
