The biggest OMG celeb moments of the week

As usual, the celebs gave us tons to talk about this week. While Smilers may be having a rough one, Gomez fans are glowing with love! Lots of great news for Disney fans this Sunday and a tear-jerking upcoming episode of Glee is one to be marked down on all calendars. Want the full scoop? Read on.

Miley’s single yet again

We know we’ve speculated and stated this several times before over the last few months, but news broke this week that Miley and Liam have officially called it quits. They’re no longer following each other on Twitter, that’s how official it is! The couple who met on The Last Song’s set in 2009 got engaged in June 2012 seemed like they were inseparable at first, but lately we’ve seen the two drifting apart. Miley’s been busy working on her twerking and album and Liam is about to go into full-on promotion mode for Catching Fire, so we can’t blame ’em. Breakups are a toughie so we wish the best for these two. Though we might not even have to say that to Liam—looks like he’s already moving on with Mexican model Eiza Gonzalez.

Cory Monteith gets RENT-controlled

Glee’s much-anticipated episode dedicated to the forever-remembered star is coming up on Oct. 10, and we’re already getting a peek at what’s in store. The episode will be all about remembering Cory’s past performances and celebrating his life. And former GF Lea Michele will be performing the episode’s biggest song dedicated to the star: “Seasons of Love” from Rent. Be sure to grab some tissues because this episode will be a tear-fest.

Good Luck Charlie stands out

Calling all Disney and Nickelodeon fans—the 2013 Emmys are a must-see this weekend. Some of our favorite shows are up for awards, including Good Luck Charlie, which we discovered this week has been nominated for Outstanding Children’s program, along with iCarly and Nick News. Jessie star Debby Ryan congratulated pals Bridgit Mendler and Jason Dolley for the nomination over Twitter this week. How sweet! Be sure to check out the Emmys this Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET on CBS to find out who win. Good luck, Charlie!

Selena Gomez has a new singing sweetie?

Selena Gomez has officially moved on from Bieber…as long as these reports are true. Rumors have been swirling this week that the starlet has been flirting with Union J’s George Shelley and even sent him a personal video message. George was apparently with his buddies when he saw the message and says he went red with embarrassment (crush much?!). Selena ended up flying George and his band to Portugal to see her show and spent her time after the concert with cutie G. According to such reports, the adorbs pair is officially a couple, but we will just have to wait and see.

Maleficent makes a move

Have you heard about the new Disney movie that puts a twist on the Sleeping Beauty story? Ya know, the one narrated by the beauty’s villain (played by Angelina Jolie) and stars the adorable Elle Fanning? Well its name is Maleficent and we just found out that the flick is actually getting bumped up. We’ll now get to see it on the big screen May 30, 2014 instead of its original July 2 date. OK, it’s not a huge jump, but at least that means the wait time is a li’l less.
