We love couch potato-ing our way through YouTube as we check out our fave viral video celebs’ new uploads. But it’s not just Rihanna and, uh, a way-too-long playlist of kitty videos occupying our time, no sir! We’re big fans of fitness YouTubers and their crazy-good (and free) videos. Here are four for you to check out before your next sweat sesh.


So you want…six-pack abs (way before swimsuit season)

What could be better than a 30-day ab-tastic workout challenge? The first thing you’ll notice about trainer Susan (of Strong Like Susan) is her ripped tummy. We. Want. Those. Abs. So, excuse us while we hit the mat and crunch ourselves to bikini nirvana.

So you want…a dancer’s bod (minus the ballet)

Yes, Lionsgate BeFit ties to a DVD series (that we heart), but we adore the YouTube channel just as much. And bonus? You can get it anywhere. BeFit has a whole Dance Workout playlist packed with 126 videos…plus playlists with Dancing With The Stars workouts, Hip Hop workouts and more. Score!

So you want…super strength (without the bulk)

FitnessBlender offers full-length videos that’ll suit just about anyone’s fancies. What we’re digging, though, is their emphasis on building lean muscle. If ya really want to bulk up, they’ve got a playlist for that, too, but we’re liking this one focusing on upper arm strength. Ready to beat the boys at pull-ups? We are!

So you want…all around fitness (and some fun)

Fitappy does have the typical 10-minute workouts you can find across YouTube, but the characteristic we like most about this fitness nut’s channel is her ability to break down essential moves like dead lifts and push-ups so that you can finally get them right. Check out her tutorials, try her routines, then put together your own moves.
