How to wear bronzer in the winter

Give your pale winter skin a warmer boost with these bronzer tips and tricks—no sun needed. If you use it the right way, you can give your face a healthy glow without looking orange or fake. People will be dying to know how you got your glow in the middle of winter!

    Try it: Pressed powder

Pick a bronzer that is just right for your skin tone (not too dark if you’re fair) to lightly sculpt your face and add some dimension. Sweep bronzing powder on with a fluffy brush on your cheekbones, above your temples and across the bridge of your nose. This will help to give you a more angular face and a slightly warmer feel.

    Try it: Liquids

Liquid bronzers are amazing because they illuminate your skin and reflect the light for a dewy glow. Add a drop or two into your moisturizer or just dot it along cheeks and blend to enhance your complexion. Our number one tip: less is definitely more.

    Try it: Bronzing pearls

Bronzing pearls are tiny clusters of different colors (gold, brown, tan) together in one little container to mix into one shimmery shade without the mess of a mineral powder. Dip your fluffy powder brush in and swirl it around before gently sweeping it onto your face. Always start off with just a small amount and go back for more if you need it; it’s easier to add more than to take off a caked-on mess!

A subtle, bronzy eye goes great with newly developing tans! If you’re getting bored of black eyeliner, play around with an electric blue liner to make your eyes the center of attention.
