Three ways to describe my
beauty style: Sporty and natural, Girl on the go, Working on my beauty skills
I wear makeup… To school and when hanging out with friends, but not at home
My best beauty tip: Less IS more! Don't cake your face with
every single makeup product you own. You don't need to wear pounds of mascara,
bold eyeliner, bright colored eye shadow and tons of foundation, blush and
bronzer. School, the store and your friend’s house aren't pageant shows. Makeup
is to accentuate your best features, not create new ones.
Fave lip product: Burt’s Bees Bees Wax Lip Balm, $3, drugstore.com
Why I love it: It's moisturizing and smells amazing! It's great for on-the-go people,
like me, because you don't have to worry about looking in the mirror since
there's no color.
Fave eye product: Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Liner in Cosmic Black, $9, ulta.com
Why I love it: As a dancer, I need makeup that won't fade or smear. This is great for
simple and bold looks. Also it comes with a smudging end, which I love!
Fave mascara: Maybelline Volum' Express One-by-One Waterproof Mascara, $8, ulta.com
Why I love it: For one, it's waterproof. Who doesn't like waterproof mascara? Second,
it's easy to apply. One coat and it's a simple look. Add a few more and I get
more dramatic eyelashes.
Fave face coverage
product: Bare Escentuals
bareMinerals ORIGINAL Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15, Golden Medium, $27, ulta.com
Why I love it: I have terrible dark spots from years of acne breakouts. This foundation
gives me great coverage considering that it's a powder foundation. And it
doesn't make me oily and shiny after a couple hours. When I apply it in the
morning before school, it doesn't feel like I'm putting on makeup!
Fave skincare product: Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in Night Calming, $6, walmart.com
Why I love it: It
removes my makeup quickly and easily and it smells refreshing.
