Olivia Holt belts it out for Bears

Disneynature is at it again, girls. After their super informative and heartwarming flicks Earth and Oceans, they’re coming out with a new True Life Adventure flick titled Bears. Bears unveils a year in the life of a totally real bear family, made up of mother bear Sky and her two cubs, Scout and Amber. This movie is so realistic, we guarantee you’ll feel like you’re right there in the middle of the Alaskan action with them. Best of all, you can celebrate Earth Day early (mark your calendars: it’s April 22) by watching their story unfold when the movie hits theaters April 18.

But what’s even better than going on a cinematic adventure with a few furry friends? The fact that our February/March 2014 cover babe and I Didn’t Do It star Olivia Holt sings the original song “Carry On” for the film. Turns out, Olivia loved being a part of the flick. Check out what she had to say about it all:

"Being able to take part in the new Disneynature film Bears was so exciting. The movie is so beautiful and the song I recorded for the film, ‘Carry On,’ is incredibly heartwarming,” Olivia dished to GL. “The song is based around this family of bears who take an epic journey and you see the love, struggle and strength it takes to build a family. The overall experience was beyond inspiring and I'm so grateful for the opportunity."

Olivia’s music video for “Carry On” will premiere on Disney Channel this Saturday, March 29, so be sure to check it out. The same day, you can purchase the song through iTunes, but be sure to ask your parent’s permission before purchasing! Singles sales will benefit the National Park Foundation.
