10 reasons we're smiling this spring--yes, even with April showers!

We complain…a lot. Blackheads. Snow boots. Rainy days. Too sunny days. Blah blah blah! Enough with the down-voting though, darlins. It’s time to show the world some serious love. Here’s what’s going on all spring long. And yeah, some of it is icky (frizz! pollen!). But here’s the silver lining in 10 (OK, 11) quick snippets.

Pollen stinks. But the flowers? Gorgeous.

Puddles on the sidewalk make for excellent rain boot testing. Splash!

We might still be recovering from losing an hour of sleep. But hey, more sunlight after school is a total win.

Half-days after exams and state tests mean pizza parlor lunches and after school ice cream.

It’s finally warm-ish in the morning at the bus stop. No. More. Hair-sicles.

And yep, humidity makes our hair all frizzy. But it also banishes dry skin. Bye-bye, flakes!

It’s the season of holiday brunch. Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day? Pancakes all around.

Sitting inside for class when it is b-e-a-utiful is tough. All the more reason to beg Teach to take it outside.

Fresh everything. Local everything. Farmers markets. Oh my yum.

Spring break is over. Which means the countdown to summer vacation is on.

OK, we lied. Here’s, number 11: The pools are almost open! The pools are almost open!
