"Wait & See" -- An original poem

Hey babes! A GL reader wrote this pump-ya-up poem. Take a peek and tell us what ya think in the comments. And don't forget to submit your own poem, story, picture or essay for You Wrote It!

“Wait & See”

You’re wasting ammunition,
Trying to make me fall.
No matter what you throw at me,
I’ll still be standing tall.
I’m motivated and dedicated,
To get my goals done.
So when this game is over,
I’ll be the one who won.

I know it takes a lot of work,
I still have things to learn.
But when I know I’m ready,
It’s going to be my turn.
Because when I put my mind to it,
There’s nothing I can’t do.
And when I finally make it,
Then I’ll have proved to you.

I know there are some people,
Who don’t believe in me.
But to them I simply smile and say,
“You just wait and see!"
