Everyone knows salads are
an awesome way to eat right but after a while, nothing but grilled chicken and
green takes its toll.
Here are five new combos that’ll
give a fresh and tasty twist on your everyday salad.
Sweet ‘n’ Savory Chopped
This tasty combo (who
doesn’t love a little sweet and crunchy) fills ya up while stayin’ healthy. Chop
up romaine and chicken then add pears, dried cranberries, pecans, a little bit
of crumbled bacon and feta cheese. Finish off with some poppy seed dressing combined
with a hint of balsamic vinaigrette.

Fruity Romaine Salad
Only one word can be used
to describe this salad: delicious. Just combine lettuce, apples, pears
blueberries and mozzarella cheese with this amazing onion and poppy-seed dressing.

Triple Berry Salad
raspberries…oh my! Combine spinach, your favorite fruits, (we used strawberries,
blueberries and raspberries) toasted almonds, basil, avocado and goat cheese
with strawberry balsamic vinegar dressing on top.

Not one for leafy salads? Pasta
salad can sometimes be a mayonnaise-y calorie/fat bomb but this version is
light and fresh. Cook and chill a box of ditalini pasta then add peas, bacon
and this amazing lemon-thyme dressing. Yes, homemade dressing takes an extra
sec but this one adds an irresistible little tang to this dish.

Shaved Broccoli Salad
Does it get any healthier
or yummier than broccoli salad? This recipe will make anyone a fan of our fave
green veggie. Simply add apples, cranberries, red onions and almonds to cut up
broccoli heads and mix with homemade dressing. This salad is so addicting, it’s
sure to become one of your new faves.
