Recalling - An original poem

Hey there, lovebugs! GL reader Samantha W. wrote this poem about a guy--and we're betting all of you can relate. Check it out and tell us what ya think in the comments.

Recalling

You broke my spirit,
You made me fall.
You had me begging,
You made me crawl.

I threw myself out there,
Hoping from you,
That would accept me,
You did everything,
but that too.

I tried again,
Hoping for you, to see,
That I don't try to hurt people.
And when I do, I'm sorry.

I tried once more,
And didn't know why.
I was blinded by looks,
Of an attractive guy.

I thought you wanted to know me,
Like I wanted to know you.
But then I found out:
You never cared.
And by that time I was through.

Through of what I didn't know,
I didn't want my hurt to show.
To know that I had liked you,
Why have I tried?
I'm just a stupid girl.
And you're just another guy
