3 ways to rock glittery makeup for Homecoming

Not gonna lie, we’re pretty big fans of glitter here at GL HQ. After all, is there a better way to outwardly sparkle and shine? That said, it’s easy to go over the top with the sparkly stuff. We’re showing you three ways to style the glitzy stuff just in time for the big Homecoming formal.

    Glamorous Gold

You’ll catch all eyes with a golden glow, girl.

    1. Press the cream gold eye shadow all over the lid with your ring finger.

    2. Use bronzer in two ways: in the crease of your eyes above the lid and to warm up your cheeks.

    3. Nude pink lip gloss looks great with gold.

    4. Line your top lash line with liquid eyeliner.

    5. For a glamorous touch, try winging out your eyeliner on the ends.

    Glowing Nude

Shimmery nude is natural yet sweetly smoky with a slightly smudged eye.

    1. Use an eye shadow brush to apply a sparkling powder eye shadow all over the lid.

    2. Apply dark brown eyeliner along the top eyelashes, then smudge this in with an eyeliner or eye shadow smudging brush.

    3. Finish with foundation and a bright pink blush for a flawless glowing look.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Iced Latte, $8,

L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder, $11,

    Dream Bouncy Blush, $8,

A cream shadow helps glitter stay put all night. Rad!

    2. Use your finger to press the glitter shadow onto the tacky base.

    3. Use lots of mascara on the top lashes and apply some blush for color on the cheeks.
