Tomorrow

By Maria A.

This day passed away
This day was so wrong
It has been raining all along.
My mind got so messed up.
I am going down.
But tomorrow might turn things around.
Tomorrow, new hope might be found.
I can’t wait for tomorrow to come.
Open my window, say hi to the sun.
I can’t wait to start a new day.
Maybe it won’t be so gray.
The sky was so dark
The ground was so wet.
There was no kindness or respect.
But you gotta stay strong
You shouldn’t whine
Tomorrow will be here in no time.
Tomorrow you’ll get up and shine, yeah.
I can’t wait for tomorrow to come.
Open my window, say hi to the sun.
I can’t wait to start a new day.
Maybe it won’t be so gray.
Tomorrow the sun will be up in the sky.
I’ll spread my wings and be ready to fly.
I will forget about yesterday.
I’ll take all of my troubles and throw them away.
