Pick the Perfect Eye Shadow!

Trying to score the right shadow can be tough – should you opt for aqua or turquoise? Lilac or plum? Lucky for you, GL’s cut out all of the confusion. The best way to determine your perfect shade is to choose according to your eye color - and we don't mean match it! Go for hues that contrast with your natural shade. Our tried and true tips will totally make your peepers pop!
Blue Eyes

Warm browns and pinks work best with blue eyes. For a dramatic look, try a peachy shadow. If you have very light blue eyes, use a navy hue to contrast your naturally crystal color.

Green Eyes
To make green peepers pop, go for gold or purple hues. The gold picks up on the warm flecks of your eyes. Purples shades serve as a drastic contrast and make your eyes even greener.

Brown Eyes
Brown eyes look bold with bronze and green tones of shadow. A metallic bronze or a mossy green gives you an instantly irresistible doe-eyed look.

Hazel Eyes
Ladies with hazel eyes are lucky –  the various color flecks in your eyes allow you to experiment with a wide range of shades! Pinks, greens and neutrals in the brown family get you a gorgeous look every time. But blue is the trickiest shade for you to pull off so if you aren't a risk-taker, steer clear.
