Tomboy Troubles


I'm kind of a tomboy. All the boys say I'm not girly and treat me more like them. I like boys but I'm scared they think I don't like them because I sometimes do boy things. What should I do to let them know I'm still a girl?!

This is a real dilemma. You still wanna hang with the guys but you also want to let them see your girlie side. There's nothing wrong with being a tomboy and liking boys. There are many girls just like Y-O-U that play video games, but love to shop, too. It's li'l tough but there is a way to be tomboyish and girly all at the same time. 

So how do you to get more girlie? One way is changing up your style a little. If you usually wear t-shirts, jeans and converses, try replacing some of your boyish clothing with girly gear. You could wear a headband, awesome earrings, a hot headband or cute flats to femme up your threads.

Another way to make the boys know that you're still a girl?! I know it must be totally awesome to have so many BGF's but try to make some female friends as well. If you have some gal pals it'll be way easier to gossip about the guys you like. Plus, it'll make your guy friends see you as more of a girl. 

So, chica, love who you are but try reaching out and making new pals, too. You really have the best of both worlds. You know how to talk to boys so it'll be super easy to get along with any guy you're crushin' on. But, if you make girl friends you'll have a whole new pack of sistahs to gossip about guys with AND shop for skirts with.

Go for it, girl!
