Happy Mother's Day!
In honor of Mothers’ Day, we’re giving lots o’ love to the number one special lady in our lives—Mom! We asked YOU to tell us what you love most about your mother, your best mom-ents and some of the coolest things you’ve done for her. Here are a few aww-worthy tear-jerkers from readers!
My mom's always cracking me up. She keeps the soundtrack to Wicked in the car, and every time we take a drive we sing along to it at the top of our lungs. And she keeps the windows down! Embarrassing, but very kooky, and that’s why I love her! -Sarah
My mom is the coolest person ever! She does a lot for my sports teams—this year she is my soccer team manger. She is also one of the basketball coaches for my basketball team, too. She always knows how to encourage me to do better and bring me back up when I’m having a bad game. She’s my number one cheerleader! -Lauren
The sweetest thing my family and I ever did for my mom on Mother's Day was to give her a day of R&R with nice relaxing music and cucumbers for her eyes. We had food for her, massages, everything. She and I also made a t-shirt with our handprints on it, just us. It turned out awesome! This is a shout-out to her with all my love! -Genesis
The best thing that my brother and I have done for my mother is making her breakfast. We were six and eight, so we didn't know how to cook very well. We knew how to make scrambled eggs, though, and we toasted two Eggo waffles and made her favorite green tea! She had to go to work early, so instead of just leaving it out for her on a plate, we put the food in a container and put the tea in a thermos. Her face lit up completely! I don't think that she'll ever forget it. -Tamika
