My BFF and I were at this school end of the year party and we were having a ton of fun. Afterwards, I went over to her house to swim. This all happened the day we got out yearbooks.  After I left her house, my mom was going through my yearbook. She called me over and said she found a really nasty note in it. I checked it out, and it turns out that my BFF wrote it! I cried and totally stopped hanging out with her because two other guys SAW her do it! It was so mean and inappropriate that I can’t even say what she said on here. Some BFF!

BFF Fix-It: It sounds like this ex-BFF was a sour sistah for sure! I can’t say exactly WHY she would write something like this and still act like a bestie, but its prob because she's jealous of you. Most girls do mean things like this for attention. Another surefire sign that she wanted to steal the spotlight? She did it in front of people to show off!

If you want to re-kindle the friendship, you can ask her what's up with the note and why she did it. If she can come up with a reason pretty quickly, she most likely just wrote the note when she was mad. But, if she can’t come up with anything, or spills the beans about why she was being so evil, you prob did the right thing by showing her the door. Move on and make a whole new set of gal pals this summer who aren't going to backstab you!
