For those of you unfamiliar with the show, the storyline begins with a young Lorelai Gilmore running away from her wealthy home with her newborn baby, also named Lorelai. Mother Lorelai works her way up at the Independence Inn, becoming the manager and buying a house for herself and Baby Lorelai—now nicknamed Rori (it’s not as confusing as it sounds). The show follows the lives of the two Gilmore women as they grow together and follow their dreams.

But of course, this Editor Obsession would not be complete without discussing the three men in Rori’s life: Dean Forester, Jess Marlana and Logan Huntzberger. Rori has had quite the luck with love, getting the chance to experience all different types of guys—the sweet boy next door, the rebel in the leather jacket and the charming millionaire.

But I must say that my favorite love interest is Jess. I can’t help it. It’s the leather jacket…or the smirk…or the sarcasm….or the hair…or I just love him entirely too much. I know some of you girls are ready to fight me on this, but I shall stand my ground (though, I do admit that Dean was better boyfriend material).

I just can’t get enough of Gilmore Girls. I love chillin’ on the couch with my mom, eating too much ice cream and laughing at Rori and Lorelai’s adventures. It’s amazing how the Gilmores can bring mothers and daughters together, reminding you how important it is to love each other and yourself.
