So you want to be a vet…

Heads up all you wannabe veterinarians! We have a new computer game for you to check out.

Pet Pals: New Leash on Life creates your very own Veterinarian Clinic on your PC or Mac! You get to work as the head vet to diagnose animals and cure them, and even get to pick the animal’s new home if it’s up for adoption.

The game offers an awesome 30+ number of cases developed by different veterinarians from around the world. There are three steps to each procedure: examine, monitor and test. With these steps, the game walks you through meeting the owner, examining the animal, monitoring all vitals and performing any procedures that are needed.

You get to personally perform blood tests and x-rays, as well as check temperatures and heart rates! Neat, right? But most importantly, you are challenged to make a diagnosis. Part of your score in the game will depend on if your diagnosis is correct or not. But the patient also depends on you so you have to get it right, right?!

The diff species of animals the game gives you is one of the coolest features, including over fifteen breeds of dogs, cats, birds and rabbits. But you also get the chance to work with exotic animals, too, like chinchillas and iguanas! Just like real clinics, you never know what—or who—might pop in next.

So if you have a passion for animals or are interested in possibly one day becoming a vet, this is definitely a game for you.
