I am really smart in school – especially in math – but all of my friends call me dumb and stupid because I don't show it. I think that I do show it!

Hey babe, school can be totally stressful, I understand! But it's not OK for your friends, or anyone, to ever call you "dumb" or "stupid." Maybe they're just trying to make a joke and they're being silly and playful and don't really know that it offends you.

Really the only thing you can do is try your hardest in school and not worry about what people say about your smarts. Like you said, you know you got the brains! Be confident that you are a smart girl and tell your friends how their mocking makes you feel. If they see that you mean it, and how it hurts you, hopefully it will stop. Don't think you have to over-do it with raising your hand it class either. Do what you feel comfortable with and stick with it girl! You are who you are, and be proud of that.

As for your teacher, unfortunately this won't be your last teach' with an annoying habit! Profs, just like us, are people too even though we sometimes forget that. Each teacher uses a different method and he or she can't help but bring their personal traits to work with them. Honestly, unless he personally offends you or there is a big issue in class because of his sarcasm, there's not really much you can do. Ya just gotta wait it out until next year's teacher! Summer's just around the corner.
