Easy Updo for Thick-Haired Girls

Thick locks look amazing when they're down, but often fall outta stylin' updos. When we spied intern Molly's awesome take on a twist, we asked her to spill her hair secret. Here's her how-to!

First, take a 1-inch section from your hairline (it’s easy to just use your bangs!). Start twisting the chunk and slowly start adding small sections of hair as you move along your hairline.
When you get to the top of your ear, secure with bobby-pins (crossing them in an "x" shape helps keep it in place).

Then, separate the rest of your hair into two even sections on each side. Put each side in a ponytail on the back of your head. Take one ponytail and twist it around the hair tie into a bun. Secure with another hair tie (or however many you may need!). Repeat on the other side.

If you want to jazz it up, add a cute bobby pin to your twist!
