Resist the temptation to tousle. After your shower, gently pat strands dry with a towel. Don’t scrunch! When hair’s damp, comb a volumizer through your locks.

Opt for subtle styling. When you overdo it, the edges of your hair get rough and chipped, which means duller strands. Drop the flat iron and blow out your hair while brushing it with a round brush. Got curly hair? Use a blow dryer with a diffuser. Dry your hair on a cool setting. Believe it or not, the cool air will bring out the shine in your hair.

Polish it off. When locks are dry, apply a shine serum. It’ll lock in moisturize and keep away dreaded frizz. Rub a dime-sized amount in your palms and apply, focusing on the roots and tips. Avoid gel, which make hair look slick not sleek!
