My brother has a calendar on his wall of women in bikinis and lingerie. It makes me feel uncomfortable, and I’m afraid to have friends over because they might see it.

I can’t ask my brother to take it down because he wouldn’t listen.

Your brother isn’t the only one with a sexy calendar and your friends won’t hold it against you. (This is America. They’ve seen it all already.) Invite them over and rest assured that they also feel uncomfortable about how loud their parents fight or how much their big brother swears or little sister tags along.

By the way, in case you’ve been doing any comparing, real women rarely ever look like pin-ups.
