Code Blue Campaign: Homeless Youth Awareness

Ever see homeless people roaming the streets around town? Ever imagine that could be you?

Most of the homeless youth on the street are kids just like you who were living at home one day and for various reasons had their life turned upside down. Reasons like parents doing drugs and kids coming out to their parents that they were gay or a lesbian.

November is “National Homeless Youth Awareness Month” and you can help make a difference in the lives of kids your age who are just like you. Named Code Blue because blue is the color for youth, empowerment, spirituality, loyalty and change, this campaign was created by 17-year-old Jermaine Crawford in order to make the public aware of the problems of youth homelessness.

Real youth stars are giving their support and donating to the campaign and you can too. Watch the PSA now!

Go to codebluecampaign.org for more info and learn how you can donate and help homeless kids have a place to go during the cold winter months.
