Whether you’ve caught this 22-year-old cutie in Disney XD’s live-action adventure series Aaron Stone or are just stumbling upon him right now, we’ve got the perfect excuse to relieve your Turkey Day food coma and stay glued to the TV this Friday.

Kelly stars as Nick Burns in Disney XD’s first Original Movie Skyrunners this Friday, Nov. 27 at 5 p.m. ET/PT—a sci-fi flick that is sure to please all.

Nick and Tyler Burns are two brothers who lead a typical teen life—that is until they stumble upon a fallen UFO on the way home from school. With the crashed unit comes an alien plot to take over the world, and Tyler is soon captured by extraterrestrials, leaving Nick to rescue his little bro—and the world—before it’s too late.

But, in real life, does Kelly believe in UFOs? What’s his fave thing about Thanksgiving? We chatted him up in L.A. and had him share…
The sky’s the limit
“[Skyrunners] is this huge action movie. It’s funny, it’s visually amazing [with] a lot of effects. I had an amazing time working on it. It’s a big movie. Once you see it, you’ll understand.”

Bro in the know
“Nick is sort of the laidback kind of careless, but very funny guy. Tyler is more of the smart one. I have a little brother [in real life] and a little brother on Aaron Stone, so it makes it very easy for me. [I] understand that relationship and what brotherly love is all about. No matter how much you tease them, you always look out for them and love them. And you know that they’re always looking up to you. It’s nice to be able to convey that.”

UFOs or no?
“I believe there are other planets like ours but I don’t know so much about UFOs. I haven’t researched [it] too much. I think the government maybe hides a lot of that stuff from us.”

Fly away
I [would like the ability to] fly, and fly very fast. I like to travel, so to be able to go, or maybe teleport. Doing that and being able to go anywhere in the world, that I want, I think that would be [nice].

Turkey fun
“We have family on my mom’s side that lived on this big farm. They had llamas, horses, chickens, and there were cornfields behind them. I had a bunch of cousins and we would go there for Thanksgiving. We would just run wild, jump on the back of these horses bareback and see who could stay on the longest. When you’re [young] and you’ve got like 10 kids running wild chasing chickens and stuff [of course it’s fun].

Thanksgiving yum
“I’m a fan of the green bean casserole. My grandma and mother make a solid green bean casserole, you know with the crispy stuff on top?”
