Another way to get kids to clean up fast is to make a competition of it. If you've been playing with stuffed animals (or whatever toys they're playing with at the time!), tell the kids that you have an idea for a new game. The object is to pick up as many stuffed animals as possible and put them in a pile near the place were they belong.

The kids will probably be too exited about winning to notice that they are actually cleaning the room. When they finish putting the stuffed animals in a pile count how many each kid place in their pile and announce the winner. Remember to congratulate each player for their hard work and help the kids put the stuffed animals in their appropriate place.
