Not to worry, using tampons for the first time is tricky for lots of gals. It’s normal for it to hurt until you get the hang of it. Definitely don’t force something that doesn’t feel right, though.
The trick may be the position you’re in (you can try lying down, standing up or squatting). Or it may be the angle that you’re holding the tampon. Our bodies are all different, so while you should use the guide that comes in the box of tampons, realize that your bod might need more or less of an angle.
Practice makes perfect, and you’ll eventually get the hang of it! And don't hesitate to ask your mom for help--she's been there and is sure to be able to give you a hand. Good luck, babe.

POSTED IN tampons
Okay so i am new to tampons and thanks you you girls help i can insert one, but when i push the button thingy to slide it up and then pull the plastic tube out, the tampon comes out with it! How do i fix this? I really think tampons will make me feel less insecure.

It does hurt at first but once you get it in, you will never want to use pads again
