The
switch from summer to fall is pretty drastic—out go the bikinis, tank tops and
flip-flops. Luckily for us, we get an
influx of awesome fall colors, which always look so warm and tempting. Burgundy, a warm red-brown shade, is perfect
to rock with your other fall neutrals, like black, camel and gray. You’ll blend
in with the leaves outside, but def stand out in the classroom!
Crimson and clover
If
you aren’t sure about rockin’ this intense red color, try it on something
small, like a hat! The old-timey feel of this felt topper looks great with
other timeless pieces like loafers and a dress with a high neckline. This look works perfectly if you can’t wait
to break out your fall faves, but the weather isn’t quite
cold enough for a sweater and tights.
Add on a leafy cuff to keep the boho-natural vibe goin’ strong.

Wild child
Sometimes,
animal print can be overwhelming with a bright color, but pairing it with plain
old black or white is a snooze! Burgundy works perfectly here- it’s colorful
without getting crazy next to a bold pattern.
Finish it off with neutral colored (but still fun!) accessories for a
wild look that won’t scare anyone off.

Scarlet letter
If
you think you’re ready to make this color the star of your outfit, but don’t
want to seem too dark, try mixing in some different fabrics to keep things
upbeat. This knit dress looks girly and
sweet, while a leathery jacket and booties give your look an earthy feel.
You’ll be the picture of a perfect fall day!
