You don’t need to be matchy-matchy

The great thing about group costumes is that you don’t have to look the part 100 percent. A hat here and shirt there will go a long way to making you the party princess when your surrounded by your costumed cohorts. Dog ears? Fuchsia knee-high boots? An ascot? Well that must  be Scooby and the gang!

Pick smart and play the part

Choose characters that are recognizable rather than obscure. Do ya wanna spend the whole night fielding “What the heck are you supposed to be?” I didn’t think so. Theme songs and catch phrases are memorable, so play ‘em up. Walk through the door clickin’ your fingers ala the Addams family. Burst onto the scene humming the “Ghostbusters” theme song.

All for one and one for all

If one of your number isn’t feelin’ your idea, scrap it and start over. If you aren’t all lovin’ your look, than this Halloween definitely won’t be a night to remember. Avoid a case of the grumps and pick something you’re all super psyched about.
