Make Your Own TV Show!

If you are sitting a five to eight-year-old girl who is a real girly-girl (and maybe you're one yourself!) you could have a fashion or cooking show.

Use a wisk or other big-spoon for the microphone. If it's a fashion show, introduce the little cutie in each of her fab outfits. Make your own runway with a long sheet.

To put on the cooking program, let her show the audience (her stuffed animals and/or siblings) how to make her fave dish. Need easy peasy recipes that are sure to keep the kiddies satisfied? GO HERE!

For Movie nights I use a cup for the popcorn instead of a bowl just to mix things up. I like to also somtimes (if the kids have been good) but a surprize ontop of the popcorn. And we have drinks (like juice or pop..whichever they like) in waterbottles or sippy cups to avoid spillage.

i need help. i am soo stressed out right now. i need to make $186 for summer camp and i have no idea how. i dont have a job, i cant have a garage sale cuz my mom was gonna take the money for bills. im taking my clothes to platos closet but i wont make much there. i dont have anybody to babysit for. what do i do? there isnt anything for me to do and if i cant get the money in two weeks i wont get to go to camp... HHHEEELLLPPP!!!

Hey Babes, I would ask some of the girls on the site how they make some money. If your 13 0r 14, some local bakeries and other shops might let you work "off the books" which means without paying taxes. You can also try putting up babysitting fliers. xo Annemarie

MOD ok i am starting to babysit and i dont have a cell phone. i keep telling them i think i should have one in case of emergencies and just to chat with friends. do girls that babysit usually get a cell phone???

Hey girl,

I don't think you can generalize babysitters and cellphones together. Some may have them and some don't. If you really want a cell phone, show your parents that you are responsible and lay out all the acceptabel reasons for a having a cell phone.

*MOD**MOD* MOD- I babysit for my cousins a lot- there's a boy age 11, girl age 8, and girl age 3. I can never find something that all 3 will willingly do together. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Sorry MOD one more thing. Do you think people will respond to me if I make flyers and put them in neighbor's mailboxes? If yes, what should I put on it and what should I charge??

Write your name, phone number, and responsible. Don't say how much you charge, that's something you can discuss with parents in person. -lauren

Thanks MOD!!!! So how do I get people to know I am responsible enough? I worried if I ask them, then they're going to not be comfortable with me watching their child. What do I do??

Try telling them that you're responsible and come up with reasons why are are responsible. -lauren

I really want to babysit. I babysit my little brother when my parents go out to dinner or something but I want to babysit other kids, like my neighbor's kids for example. I really want to but I am worried if I ask people they won't feel comfortable with leaving their child with me for like 2 hours. How can I show them I can babysit them and I'm good at it? Where do I start?I am 13 years old and I would say that I am VERY responsible. Do you think I can babysit people like my neighbors at 13? Is that too young to babysit my neighbors????
