Week 19: Snacking Smart

 

Snacking comes in handy for staving off hunger pangs before lunch and avoiding thirds at dinner. Just see that an occasional healthful treat doesn’t turn into a nosh fest. Keep reaching for string cheese, nuts and fruit, and fend off the urge to down brownies. A mix of protein and carbs (like yogurt and oat bran with a li’l honey, or an apple with PB) keeps you full longer than a bag of gummy bears.
