Twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso have made a big transition from pop-punk to a new electro-rock sound for their second album Hook Me Up. The let-your-hair-down-and-dance sound is perfect for shaking your bootay!
Crazy-funky beats mixed with amazing raw vocals from the sisters come together for a unique album. Bad-girl sassy tracks like “Popular” and “Hook Me Up” will have you singing the catchy refrains over and over! In “Popular” the girls use the lyrics to comment on their fame: “Either you got it or you don’t/And I’m sorry you won’t/Get there by using me/Just go on do your own thing.” Are ya a fan of the old Veronicas sound? Not to worry, chica! Check out “Revenge is Sweeter (Than You Ever Were),” which still has a taste of their poppy sound.
Our personal fave track to groove to is “Take Me On The Floor” With sultry, fun, flirty lyrics, it’s impossible to stand still when you’ve got your iPod in hand.
