createagorp.blogspot.com, but here’s one of our faves. Curling up in front of the
tube with your besties? Whether it’s a middle-of-the-week sleepover or a New
Year’s Eve countdown party, this recipe will cure even the pickiest case of the
2 packets of your fave movie-style microwave popcorn, popped
(that’s about 8 cups)
1 cup roasted, unsalted whole almonds
2 cups large, unsalted whole peanuts
1 cup of your fave movie theater candy (Dots, nonpareils,
Pop corn and cool it completely. Put in a big bag with nuts
and candy, shake gently to mix and scoop out by the cupful. Package in
individual snack or sandwich bags. Makes 12 one-cup portions.
Sure, you could serve it in a big bowl, but that’ll lead
to binging. To control your portions, try giving each girl a bowl or mug of her
own. For cutesy cinema appeal, try putting a scoop in a paper bag and folding
over the top.
