but my mom and dad don’t know. Should I tell them?
Hey girlie! Things like this depend entirely on your
relationship with your parents. While they should definitely know if you're seeing a guy outside of school, other details are up to you. I’m really close with my mom, so I tell her
everything. Some of my friends, however, are pretty tight-lipped about their
relationships.
It sounds like you might be feeling a li’l bit guilty about
keeping your relationship and your intimacy a secret. If that’s the case, then
why not spill the beans? When you don’t have to be concerned about hiding your
feelings from your ‘rents, you’ll be much more comfortable in your
relationships with both your Mom ‘n’ Dad and your boyfriend.
Bonus? Chances are, your mom would love it if you confided
in her. Moms are corny like that.
