Hey girl! Your period is part of puberty and becoming a
woman. Most of the time, yes,
girls will experience a growth spurt before their first period, but you will
continue to grow for the first two years or so afterwards.
Normally, you will begin to develop breasts first, about two
to three years prior to your first period. Some girls tend to gain some weight and may also experience
