My sister is going off to college. She is excited, but I
am sad. I can text and email her,
but I’ll still be lonely. We do
everything together, and now that is going to change.
Dear I’ll Miss my Sis,
Have a great sister spring/summer, and know that she’ll
always be a phone call or IM away.
If you’re good at staying in touch, you may find that you appreciate
each other in whole new ways. The
transition may be hard for your parents, too, so if you ever feel like saying,
“Wanna play Scrabble?” or “Let’s go for Chinese,” they might be up for it. Another bright side: You could plan a
really fun weekend on campus.
