3 ways to eat healthier on spring break


 
It happens to lotsa girls: The bell rings for vacay and your healthy habits go right out the window. Not anymore. We’ve got tricks to keep you on track, no matter how far you’re wandering this vacay.

1.   Exercise portion control
This one is huge. There’s nothing harder to resist when on vacation then indulging in huuuge meals, especially since you’re going out to eat more often and restaurants usually give you way more food then necessary. Ask your waiter how big that bowl of pasta is before you order. If it’s mammoth, offer to split it with your sis or see if you can get a smaller portion.

2. Avoid snacking all day 
When you’re in school, it’s easy to sit around and munch on chips, cookies or leftovers all day. Instead, try to stay busy to keep outta the fridge. And if you’re going on a day trip, pack a cooler for the fam that’s filled with fruits, nuts and turkey on whole wheat sandwiches. It’ll fill you up better and won’t load you up with sugar.

3.    Stay hydrated…with water 
Make it your goal this break to down a ton of water. Buy a new bottle if you have to and keep it loaded with H20. It’ll keep you feeling full (less snacking!) and will keep your body running in top shape.
