I’m scared about the locker room in sixth grade! I am
smaller than all my friends and I’m kind of flat chested. I’m worried that I
will be smaller than all of the other girls. Any tips?
In a locker room, it’s easy to start comparing bodies, but
you just have to stop! Everyone’s unique and we all have great qualities, so
why dwell on the negative things? It’ll only get you down. Try focusing on the
amazing things that you love about yourself, like your amazing math skills, athletic
ability or outgoing personality. You could even make a list of all those great
qualities and tape it to your mirror. Anytime you’re feeling insecure, just
take some time to look back at it, and you’ll soon realize that you’ve got a
lot more going for you than you might think!
You may not realize it, but even the most
confident-looking girls still get insecure sometimes. Nobody’s perfect, and we
all have things we envy about one another. The important thing is to accept
yourself for who you are, and keep your confidence up. If you feel confident, you’ll be confident—it’s as easy as that!
