I have hair on my nipples, and I really want to remove
it—it's embarrassing! Should I pluck it, shave it, wax it...what?
When you go through puberty, it’s pretty darn common to wake
up one morning, look down and realize there's hair everywhere. The fact of the matter is, however, humans
are mammals and we all naturally have hair all over, whether it’s dark and
coarse or barely noticeable.
I urge you to leave the hair on your nipples alone. The skin
on and surrounding your nips is extremely sensitive, making plucking and waxing
a really painful-sounding idea. Plus, if that area of skin doesn’t take well to
depilatories, you’re gonna be seriously uncomfortable until the irritation goes
away. And shaving is a recipe for lots of cuts all over your boobs.
It’s time to embrace the hair on your bod and, if necessary,
learn to ignore it. It’s not hurting anyone, and chances are no one is going to
see it, anyway. So what’s the big deal? Drop the embarrassment and rock your
body proudly!
