Lately, I’ve been farting all the time. I can’t control it! What’s going on?
A lot of things can force your bod to pass gas: a change in
diet, sickness, anxiety. The first is the most likely culprit (and the easiest
to uncover). Have you been eating more fruits and vegetables lately, or upping
the whole grains? What about cutting back on water and other liquids? Too
little fiber and too much fiber can make your stomach produce more gas, making
you, in turn, gassier.
Other factors, like illness or stress, can affect your
gastrointestinal tract, too. If you’ve been out with a cold or have had a
queasy stomach, a minor bug might be to blame. If it doesn’t pass soon, go see
your doc. Sweeties with sensitive tummies know what I mean when I say that
stress can seriously upset your digestive system. Depending on your bod, it can
give ya a stomachache or make ya cut the cheese. Take deep breaths and do your
bests to stay calm, and you should be A-OK.
