The girl who
sits beside me in my English class smells HORRIBLE. I don't care if
she decides not to shower or whatever, but the thing is that even
after class, the smell is still there. I end up smelling like her for
the rest of the day, and I don't know what to do about it! I don't
want to tell her, but I don't want to switch seats either.
There’s only two options in this
situation: either tell her or don’t. If you don’t want to tell
her, then the best thing to do is switch seats so you don’t have to
deal with the smell. You could also try a body spray after class to
take the smell off of you, but that’s a hassle to do everyday.
Telling her won’t be easy, but it
might get her to change her cleaning habits. If you’re friends with
someone who is close to her, you could think about talking to her
friend and seeing if she can say something. People with body odor
would rather be told by someone they know than just an acquaintance.
If you do tell her yourself, be really kind about it and make sure
you tell her in private. Lots of times people who smell bad don’t
even realize it, and appreciate someone telling them!
