I sleep with a stuffed animal. How can I break apart from
my comfort-giver?
Dear Age 13,
You’re not the only 13-year-old who still cuddles up with a
stuffed bear. Sleeping with an animal for comfort is not like sucking your
thumb or dragging a blankie around. Give yourself a break! Soon enough, you’ll
probably change your ways without even trying. If you still want to break the
habit, put your animal on a shelf or at the end of your bed instead of right
next to you. Grab a pillow if you need something to hold.
