Music’s
biggest night is tonight! Will you be tuning in to the
54th
Grammy Awards on CBS? To
get you pumped for all of tonight’s presenters, red carpet looks
and amazing musical performances, we’ve decided to put together a
li’l playlist inspired by the nominees.
“Someone
Like You” – Adele
Adele
has six nominations, including Record of the Year, and it is well
deserved. Her soulful voice has captured the ears of millions. This
song has been playing non-stop on everyone’s playlist and I’m
sure it will continue for a long time to come. If you haven’t heard
it before, then check it out now for sure!

“Yo”
– Chris Brown
It may
be his album F.A.M.E. that is nominated for “Best R&B Album,”
but Chris Brown has always had Grammy-worthy music. This song has been stuck in girls' heads it first came out in
2005.

“Mean”
– Taylor Swift
How
anyone could ever make fun of Taylor Swift is confusing to us. But in
this song, she sings about how all these haters are just “Mean.”
She’s nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo
Performance tonight. And if you take one listen to this empowering
jam, then you’ll know exactly why.

“Pon
de Replay” – Rihanna
Rihanna
has been releasing hit after hit since she dropping this first single
in 2005. She has no plans to stop in the near future, and that is
just fine with us! Listen to her first single now to prep for her
live “Princess of China” performance with Coldplay.

the tune here!
“Say
My Name” – Destiny’s Child
Kelly
Rowland is nominated in the Best Rap/Song Collaboration for her song
“Motivation” with Lil Wayne, but she wasn’t always a solo
artist. She got her start with the girl group Destiny’s Child with
another singer you may have heard of, Beyoncé or something…anyway,
check out this song as a reminder that Kelly has been in the game for
a while now and plans on keeping it that way.

“Lift
Off (feat. Beyoncé)” – Kanye West and Jay-Z
When
word first got out that Jay-Z and Kanye West were collaborating on an
entire album together, we knew it was going to blow our minds. They
definitely didn’t disappoint when the time came, and their Grammy
nomination for Best Rap Album goes to show that. Check this song out
as a little taste of why they were nominated.
