I liked this guy since last year,
when he wasn't even close to being popular. We were friends but now
that he's popular it's harder to talk to him! How do I deal?
Hey girly! Teenage years can be hard
because social status’ change and people think that it should
change how they act and who they hang out with. Try chatting him up
online or find him when he is walking alone from school. By himself
he doesn’t have his crew to dictate him and he can make him own
decisions.
When people suddenly become popular
they don’t know how to deal and think that it is okay to only talk
to their new friends, and they forget about their old ones. Remind
him how close you two were and build that friendship back up before
you move beyond that. If he still seems to blow you off then maybe he
has changed, and not for the better
