Quick Q of the week:
I rarely eat breakfast because I don't like breakfast foods like bacon, eggs or
toast. I want to eat breakfast though because it's the most important meal of
the day. What are some easy things to make you would suggest?
Wellness expert and CEO
of girlsgonesporty.com Laura Williams says, “I completely
understand! I'm not a big breakfast person, either. It's all about getting your
metabolism revved up in the morning, so put some peanut butter on apple slices
or make oatmeal with raisins.
Make it happen! The
key to making breakfast count isn’t just puttin’ something in your belly in the
a.m. “Try to choose foods that have a high-fiber carbohydrate (like oats, whole
wheat bread, fruits or veggies) and a protein (peanut butter, milk, soy milk,
Greek yogurt, etc.),” Laura says. “These will keep you full and focused (like
the commercial!) throughout the day.”
