Dudes decoded: What your mom and his mom chatting really means

 
 
I like this guy and, one day, his mom talked to my mom. She asked about me and also talked about her son. Does this mean he likes me? Does he know I like him?
 
Dave: What it means is that mothers like to chat. In no way does it mean the guy has any knowledge of what his mom said. Since you like him, find a way to let him know you’re into him—one that doesn’t involve a pair of moms.
 
Bill: Another mom asking your mom about you is OK. But don’t get too stoked unless he deals with you directly. Too many messages through the Mom Network can really create static.
