Seventy-eight years from now, the United Kingdom is on the brink of a revolution. Princess Eliza Windsor sits with her mother in the royal garden, not knowing her life will change forever. Her mother tastes the impeccable looking peach…and we fast forward a few years to Eliza holding her locket tightly, opening it to examine the picture of her late mom. 

Eliza and her siblings are about to make their way to Buckingham Palace for the annual Rose Ball when Eliza’s best friend, Polly, slips her a sealed letter. The letter contains a frightening warning—someone is out to get the Windsor family line, and he built an army of followers to do it. Eliza is scared, while her father, the King, denies there is any problem. In a matter of minutes, the King is dead, and the rebel army, called the Tudor army, occupies the palace.  Eliza’s siblings, Mary and Jamie, are captured, and nobody knows where they are.

But Eliza miraculously escapes the clutches of the Tudors. She realizes she must fight to the death in order to save her siblings and her kingdom, so she joins the Tudor army undercover in hopes of succeeding. On the way, she encounters true love, but a love that is forbidden. And soon her disguise is revealed and she must run for her life.
