I really like this one guy and I think he likes me too, but
the problem is that he's my BFF’s brother. He's always talking to me and trying
to hang out with us, but my BFF is always telling him to go away. I want to
tell both of them how I feel, but how do I do that without it becoming awkward
between us? I can never get him alone, so it wouldn't be possible for me to
just tell him. Also we're all homeschooled so I wouldn't be able to tell him at
school or something like that. Help!
I think before you say anything to your crush you should
talk to your BFF. Strong friendships will always be more important than boys,
because boys will come and go but your girlfriends will always be there for
you.
Chat with your BFF in private and tell her that you don’t
want to make her upset but you have a crush on her brother. Say that you wanted
to tell her first because her opinion and friendship means a lot to you. You
can finish by asking her if she would be OK with you pursuing something more
with her brother or not.
If your friend is OK with this (which hopefully she should
be because everyone wants their brother to date a nice girl) then go ahead and
tell him. You won’t have to worry about her hearing since you two already
talked. If she is uncomfortable with the idea of you like her brother then
maybe you should just move on. There are plenty of more super cute fish in the
sea.
